HILARY MOMBERGER POWERS

Upon finding sobriety in 1983 Hilary Momberger Powers, has been a successful mentor, published writer and public speaker in recovery for over forty years.
She studied with John Bradshaw, a preeminent figure in the field of recovery and dysfunctional families also worked in the early 90’s as the program manager for the first sober living house for women alcoholics in the United States. This program, which later came to be known as Promises, was instrumental in establishing after care for the recovering alcoholic.
Most people are unaware that Hilary was a well-known commercial actress and child actress, voicing the character of Sally in many of the Charlie Brown cartoons, and working with Charles Schulz and Bill Mendelson.
What you might not know about Hilary is that she started working in front of a camera at five years old, landing her first audition as SALLY BROWN in the PEANUTS cartoons. Hilary went on to voice Sally in seven Peanut's Special. She worked non-stop in Hollywood until her early teens.
But Childhood fame has a price. After living under the control of a narcissistic mother, the famous quote of cartoon character Sally Brown, "Who cares?", became the truth Hilary lived until it nearly destroyed her.
After getting sober in 1983 Hilary focused on her education, earning her degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, working in hospitals, as Drug Rehab Counselor and medical clinics.
She studied under John Bradshaw, a preeminent figure in the field of recovery and dysfunctional families and also worked in the 80’s as the program manager for the first sober living house for women alcoholics in the United States. This program, which later came to be known as Promises, which was instrumental in establishing after care for the recovering alcoholic across America.
She returned to school, attending UCLA Film Extension and for over thirty years Hilary worked as a very successful Script Supervisor, enabling her to learn from some of the world’s greatest Directors and Actors: an education in of itself.
Although she continues to work as a commercial actress and print model Hilary is sought after for her Motivation and Inspirational Speaking, as well for her Life Coaching.
WHO I AM
For over 30 years, Hilary has worked with hundreds of people whose lives have been devastated by alcohol and drug addiction, abuse, trauma and lack of self-worth.
But Hilary’s greatest gift is guiding women and men in healing from old wounds, taking back their power and living the life they desire.
Inspiring the all persons, to heal from their trauma, laugh through tears, renew their love for life again, and give back to the world.
